Eucalyptus GunniiThe most commonly grown species of Eucalyptus in the UK. Extremely hardy and versatile variety, which can be grown as a specimen tree or as a bushy shrub. The blue-green juvenile foliage has round leaves, keep the tree pruned if you want to retain this foliage. The adult leaves are elongated, with a darker green-blue colour. Very fast growing, can achieve 1.5 metres per year and if left unpruned can reach 25m!!. Plant in any soil, best in full sun with an open/unshaded position.
